Sheriff’s Home Destroyed by Fire

The WV State Fire Marshal's office is investigating a fire that destroyed the home of Wayne County Sheriff Greg Farley.

Officials with the Fire Marshal's office say it happened around 12:15 a.m. Saturday.

The home on Camp Creek Rd. was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived on scene.

No one was home at the time..

Firefighters say the two story log home was destroyed.

The cause and origin of the fire is undetermined. The Fire Marshal's office is asking anyone with information to call their hotline at 1-800-233-3473.
