The City
of Williamson's Fire Chief has announced his resignation.
The Williamson City Fire Chief,
Jerry Mounts, announced his resignation. He has been with the Williamson City
Fire Department for almost 40 years and has been the fire chief since 2002.
Mounts stated, "I came in like
a lion and I am leaving like a lamb." He also thanked God & the city
for allowing him the opportunity to serve his community.
Joey Carey was named the interim
fire chief.
