Man dies in Charleston fire

The Charleston Fire Dept. is investigating a deadly fire that occurred Sunday morning.

Investigators say an elderly man living in Agsten Manor on Randolph Street was overcome by smoke. The blaze was contained to the victim’s apartment.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. A cigarette may have been the cause.
