Sunday crash kills Charleston man

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Police said a Charleston man died a few hours after losing control of his car on an Interstate 64 exit ramp Sunday.
Investigators said Kenneth Hughes, 59, crashed his car into a barrier wall on the Oakwood Road exit ramp at around 1:45 p.m. Sunday. The car also struck an embankment and a tree, and Hughes had to be cut from the vehicle.
He died a few hours later at Charleston Area Medical Center, police said.
