St. Mary’s Medical Center to Take Over ‘Comfort House’

Some changes are coming to the "Comfort House" in Huntington, including the name.

The Jeffrey E. George Comfort House closed June 30 after not being able to pay the mortgage.

St. Mary's Medical Center will take over the facility, as well as the mortgage payment. It will rename the facility the St. Mary's Hospitality House.

Organizers hope to reopen the facility within the next few months.
