Three injured in collision with coal truck

A woman and two children were rushed to the hospital in Kanawha County Friday afternoon after the minivan they were in collided with a coal truck.

The accident happened at just before 1 p.m. on Cabin Creek Road in eastern Kanawha County. The woman had to be cut out of the wreckage. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Police are investigating.
