Two brothers sentenced for federal gun charges in Kanawha County, WV


Two brothers were sentenced to prison Thursday, September 4.
According to a news release issued by U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin, 27-year-old David Burgess and 26-year-old Jesse Burgess, both of Charleston, West Virginia, were sentenced to 21 months in prison on federal gun charges.  
This was in connection to the theft of firearms from two local businesses.

The news release says this case was brought as part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, which is a nationwide commitment to reduce gun crime in the United States by networking existing local programs that target gun crime.
