People Express Airlines is now offering
a direct flight to Orlando Florida
from Yeager Airport
The airport made the
announcement Wednesday during a news conference.
The flight starts October 16. The
134-seat aircraft will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flight
will depart Orlando International (MCO) at 1:15 p.m. and arrive at Yeager
Airport (CRW) at 3:10 p.m. The flight will leave Charleston
at 3:50 p.m. and arrive in Orlando
The airline is offering an introductory
one-way fare for $49 if you book within the next 48 hours. After that the
normal fare will be $79 one-way.
Airport officials have been working to
get a direct Orlando flight since 2012 when
Airtran Airways discontinued its flight from Yeager Airport
