Auto parts store fire rekindles

Fire crews are back on the scene of a the Napa Auto Parts Store in Big Stone Gap, Va. 

The fire from Monday afternoon has apparently rekindled. 

Parts of the downtown area of Big Stone Gap are currently blocked off.

Big Stone Gap, Virginia Police Chief Steve Hamm says three fire departments are trying to control a business fire before it spreads to other buildings.

Chief Hamm said the Napa Auto Parts store on East 5th Street is on fire. It started burning before 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

When firefighters arrived, the building was engulfed in massive flames.

The cause remains under investigation. 

Firefighters could be on scene for several hours before the flames are under control.
