Mental Evaluation Ordered For Former Candidate

{Clay, West Virginia}…Clay County Circuit Judge Richard Facemire ordered mental competency testing Thursday for attorney Hiram Lewis of Morgantown, who ran for state Attorney General in 2004 and U.S. Senate in 2006. Lewis allegedly shot Steve Bogart at a house in Procious in June. The hearing was a result of his most recent charge, intimidation of a state's witness. Lewis is accused of threatening Sheriff Randy Holcomb to drop his felony charges in the Bogart case.
