Governor to help dedicate new DMV


SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va.The West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles will open the doors to its new regional office in Summersville Monday morning. Governor Earl Ray Tomblin will take part in the ceremony for the 24th DMV location in the state.
Tomblin has been working with the DMV to get the new office in Nicholas County up and running. The ceremony is set for 11 a.m.
The new office is located at Armory Way. Tomblin will be joined by Department of Transportation Secretary Paul Mattox, DMV Commissioner Steven Dale and former DMV Commissioner Joe Miller, who all played a part in the planning and construction phases of the building.
