Wayne County E911 is hiring new dispatchers.
They have one full time position and at
least one part time position.
Here are the qualifications to be a
dispatcher in the county:
Must submit to and successfully pass background check and drug
screening
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to work long shifts, short notice, weekends, holidays, night and day shifts
Must have good computer skills
Must have excellent multi-tasking skills
Prior experience in dispatching is required for full time position
Prior experience in first responder/dispatching community is preferred for part time position
