Memorial Day Weekend is here, and that means more people will be
traveling.
West Virginia State Police are
enforcing the Click It or Ticket program by pulling people over for not wearing
their seat belts.
Trooper Stuart Swope pulled over at
least four people today for the same thing and says it's all about letting
people know they can't get away without buckling up.
"We need to get people to get in
the mindset that they need to continue to wear their seat belts," said
Swope. "And for the most part most people do."
But he serves as a reminder to those
who forget, or simply choose not to wear their belt.
The best advice troopers can give travelers,
click it, so you don't get a ticket.
