Three W.Va. residents Arrested in Drug Raid



Three people in Logan County, West Virginia have been arrested in part of a drug raid involving a gang in Columbus, Ohio.
Authorities say 22 people have been charged with drug trafficking and gun crimes in a central Ohio investigation.
State and federal investigators say the gang, known as the "Short North Posse" operated in a neighborhood north of downtown Columbus for two decades.
The defendants are charged with conspiring to distribute cocaine, oxycodone, crack cocaine and marijuana. The federal indictments announced Wednesday also charge defendants with illegal possession of firearms, illegal travel to support racketeering and money laundering.
Gary R. Martin II, 39, Lisa B. Martin, 39, and Derrick A. Browning, 30, all from Sarah Ann in Logan County, W.Va. were taken into custody about 7 a.m. Wednesday in connection with the case.
They will be arraigned in federal court later this week.
Columbus, Franklin County and federal authorities say the indictments cap a year-long investigation.
