Jason Pizatella will serve as West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin's deputy chief of staff.
Tomblin made the announcement on Wednesday.
Pizatella most recently served as acting cabinet secretary of the West Virginia Department of Revenue. He's also served as the director of legislative affairs for the governor's office since January 2011.
