A public meeting on proposed changes to West Virginia 's fishing regulations will be held next week at Stonewall Jackson Lake.
The changes include a six-fish-per-day creel limit. One of these may be 18 inches or longer for black bass. There also would be a 52-inch minimum size limit with a one fish per day creel limit for muskellunge.
Currently, there is a catch-and-release regulation in place for all black bass and a 30-inch minimum size limit with a two-fish per day creel limit for muskellunge.
DNR Wildlife Resources Section assistant chief Bret Preston says the open-house style meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 11 at the park's administration building.
