{Charleston, West Virginia}...A murder trial got underway Monday afternoon for 51 year old Kenneth Eugene Carter. Carter is charged with murder and malicious wounding in the July 2011 beating death of 51 year old Ronald Forton. Police say Carter used a baseball bat to bludgeon his two roommates, killing Forton and seriously injuring 60 year old Bradie Dunlap while in a Buehring Avenue apartment on Charleston's West Side. Police found the body of Forton on July 21, 2011after Dunlap alerted them.
