WV Man To Stand Trial In Deputy's Death

{Waynesburg, Pennsylvania}...A southwestern Pennsylvania district judge has ordered that 35 year old Jerod Green, of Morgantown, West Virginia be held to stand trial on charges including murder of a law enforcement officer, homicide by vehicle while driving drunk and criminal homicide. On February 18th, officers were chasing Green after a hit-and-run accident when he crashed into a patrol car which was stopped in the median of Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania, killing 41 year old Sgt. Michael May, a deputy with the Monongalia County, West Virginia Sheriff's Office.
