- {Cedar Grove, West Virginia}...Sgt. L.G. O'Bryan of the West Virginia State Police detachment at Quincy says Troy Stumpler, 32, of Louisville, Kentucky was driving on U.S. 60 near Cedar Grove at about 10:30 A.M. Wednesday morning when he apparently lost control of his pickup truck, flipped the vehicle three times and landed on the CSX railroad tracks not far from the Twin Hills Restaurant on East Dupont Avenue. Dispatchers were in the process of warning railroad officials the truck was blocking a portion of the tracks, when a train hit the truck. While questioning Stumpler, troopers found a loaded .45 caliber pistol, a 9mm assault-style carbine and large amounts of prescription drugs in the the truck. Stumpler was charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and was taken to Montgomery General Hospital for drug testing.
