Lincoln County Man Indicted

{Hamlin, West Virginia}...Sixty-one year old James Matheny of Midkiff has been indicted on charges of assaulting a federal officer and a state officer with a deadly weapon. Matheny was arrested after allegedly pulling a gun and threatening to kill an FBI Agent and an investigator with the Secretary of State's office who were trying to talk with him about the 2010 primary election voter fraud case in Lincoln County. Matheny faces a possible sentence of no less than seven years to life in federal prison if convicted.
