Man Charged With Attempted Murder

{Huntington, West Virginia}...Thirty-one year old Brett Newman was arrested in the Guyandotte section of Huntington about 4:30 A.M. Wednesday morning and charged with first degree robbery, attempted first degree murder and conspiracy after Edward Perry, a coin vendor, was shot multiple times Friday morning at the Milton Flea Market. Newman's bond was set at $750,000, and a preliminary hearing is set for March 30th. Romel Lee Green, 20, and Tiffany Brook Whittenburg, 33, of Huntington, were arrested earlier and have been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and conspiracy.
