Former Kanawha County Lawmaker Dies
{Charleston, West Virginia}...George B. "Brud" Warner, Sr. of Charleston, a former member of the Kanawha County House of Delegates and member of the West Virginia Republican Executive Committee, passed away Wednesday at the age of 85. His public life also included time as a justice of the peace and county magistrate. His sons. Buffy Warner was a member of the state Senate. He preceded his father in death. Kris Warner was the chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party. Casey Warner was at one time the U.S. Attorney for southern West Virginia and Monty Warner was a distinguished member of the military and ran for governor. Mac Warner ran for U.S. Senate. George Warner, a World War II veteran who was a member of the Eisenhower Honor Guard, graduated from Charleston High School and West Virginia University. Visitation services are scheduled for noon until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Elizabeth United Methodist Church in Charleston. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 P.M.
