Hospital Administrator Denies Allegations

{Madison, West Virginia}...Rusty Felty, a clerk at the Little General Convenience Store in Madison, says he saw Tommy Mullins, the Administrator at Boone Memorial Hospital, having trouble using his credit card at the gas pump, so he came inside the store to use his card, and when that didn't work Rusty says Mullins became irate, went back outside, got a big metal object and began tossing it up in the air and acting like he was going to throw it through the window of the store. Rusty says he ran outside to see what the problem was and that's when Mullins pulled out a knife and came at him. Mullins tells a different story. He admits that there was trouble at the pump and says he got his pocket knife out to separate two things that were stuck together, and, when the attendant came around the building and spoke to him, he had the knife in his hand, but he strongly denies that he walked toward Felty or threatened him.
