Huntington Murder Trial Underway
- {Huntington, West Virginia}...A murder trial got underway Tuesday for Rhamel Hatcher, 26, of South Point, one of three men charged in the beating death of Jeremy Cook from Hurricane, who was found beaten and unconscious in an alley behind a Huntington nightclub in May 2010. He died several days later at a hospital in Huntington. Dwain Foster and Clyde Cooper were also charged in Cook’s death. Foster was sentenced to the maximum penalty of one to five years in prison, while Cooper entered a Kennedy Plea to voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
