Last night, State Police in Mingo County
played the role of Santa's helpers in their first ever "Operation: Making
a Difference."
They partnered with schools in the area
to come up with presents for more than 140 kids and food for more than 60
families.
The troopers included a letter from
Santa, along with the gifts, explaining they were just helping old Saint Nick
out because he gets so busy this time of year.
State Police still have more than 50 families
they'll be delivering presents to all over Mingo County
this week.
