Buckwild cast member faces drug charges

A member of the cast of the MTV series “Buckwild” is behind bars. Authorities say Salwa Amin was arrested over the weekend on a felony charge of drug possession with intent to deliver.  The arrest was made in Nicholas County and she was taken to the Central Regional Jail in Flatwoods.

Salwa is one of the nine young people spotlighted in the reality series filmed in and around Kanawha County and other communities in West Virginia.

Her arrest comes just a week after MTV announced there would be a second season of the hit series. The show has an audience of nearly three-Million people ever week.
