Passenger dies in Nitro wreck

An accident in Kanawha County Friday night leaves one dead and three injured.
Nitro police say 69-year old Cuba Lambert of Poca was a passenger in a car which was struck on Route 25 at the intersection to the on-ramp of west bound I-64.   Lambert later died at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston.
The drivers of both vehicles and a second passenger in Lambert’s vehicle are all recovering at CAMC.
Authorities say charges may be pending in the wreck as the investigation continues.  However, police say neither weather conditions nor alcohol played a factor in the accident.
