Suspect in Meth Lab Found Hiding Underneath Bed

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va.– A man wanted in connection with a meth lab was found hiding underneath a bed.

Troopers responded Saturday night to a tip about a meth lab at a home on Hope Lane in Kanawha County.

A search of the house found a shake-and-bake meth lab in the garage.

Troopers arrested Dewey R. Wickline, 56, and Forest N. Goldburg, 22, at the home.

One man took off before he could be arrested. K-9 units were called to look for James E. Tidwell, 30. Troopers say on a final look of the house, they looked under a bed and found Tidwell hiding.

The three men face a slew of charges including: attempting to operate a clandestine meth lab, conspiracy and child neglect.

Troopers say three children under the age of six were in the house.
