Second Man Arrested in Huntington Pharmacy Robbery

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- A second man police say robbed a CVS Pharmacy in Huntington on Feb. 13 has been arrested.

John Thomas Beaver, 30, of Ona, W.Va., is charged with first-degree robbery, according to information from Cabell County Magistrate Court.

Beaver was arrested Wednesday.

Another suspect, 30-year-old Jeremy Johnson, was arrested last week and charged with first-degree robbery.

According to the criminal complaint, Johnson walked into the store and handed a note to the teller, directing her to hand over money from the register, and that he was armed with a gun.

The note also stated that if she would cooperate no one would be hurt.

The complaint says the clerk then gave Johnson an undetermined amount of money and he fled the store with another man.

According to the most recent information, Beaver served as "a lookout" for Johnson.
Beaver was taken to the Western Regional Jail; his bond was set at $100,000 cash only.
