Kentucky man found guilty on all counts in bar robbery and beating case

A Flatwoods, KY man accused of holding up a bar and beating and robbing the people inside has been convicted.
William Fykes, 42, was found guilty in court Friday evening of three counts of armed robbery, three counts of kidnapping, two counts of malicious wounding and obstruction.
Fykes trial began Monday and the jury began deliberating around 3:45 p.m. Friday after both sides rested their case and Fykes took the stand on his own behalf.
Investigators said Fykes entered the Stonewall bar on January 1, 2012 and proceeded to attack, rob and tie everyone inside the bar up with zip ties.
An additional hearing in the case is scheduled for today in Huntington.
