Authorities removed six young children from a Fairmont home filled with cat feces and trash, according to police.
Police charged Samantha Ann Balch, 25, with six counts of child neglect creating risk of injury after officers say they saw a young child eating food that fell on the floor.
The children are as young as one and as old as nine.
Officials with Child Protective Services say the home smelled of urine and feces and had trash stacked several feet high. Police also claim the children were walking barefoot around the home filled with feces.
