{Charleston, West Virginia}...Police say 25 year old David Jauboi Booker of Charleston was found on Milton Street about 1:30 A.M. Thursday morning after he had been shot in the head. Two people walking in the area called police after discovering the body. Police are looking for a white Ford Crown Victoria with damage to the front passenger side. Charleston Police Department Criminal Investigation Division Sgt. Bobby Eggleton says Booker is well known to the city police and they've been dealing with him since he was a juvenile. Eggleton says drugs were found in the area of Booker's body. In March 2004, Booker was indicted on first-degree murder charges in the fatal shooting of Donald Williams, 37, in Charleston. Booker was 17 when he was indicted, but his case was moved to adult status. Booker eventually pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, initially faced up to 15 years in prison, but only served around four years. A couple of months earlier, Booker tried to rob Williams at an apartment complex, but Williams foiled the robbery by pulling a gun and firing two shots at Williams. In September 2010, Booker was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of 27 year old Omar Lorenzo Thompson of Beckley. He was sentenced to one year in prison.
