Mingo County Teacher Gives Up Certification

Tina Grace, 53, a Mingo County special education teacher accused of injuring special-needs children, agreed last week to give up her certification in exchange for abuse charges against her being dismissed. Grace was indicted by a Mingo County grand jury last July on two felony counts of child abuse resulting in injury and one count of misdemeanor battery. Donna Hurst, a 60 year old teacher's aide, was charged with one count of battery.
