{Beckley, West Virginia}...Friday, U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin filed a federal criminal information charge against 31 year old Gabriella Brown from Beckley. Brown, a former evidence technician for the Beckley Police Department, is accused of stealing 22 Oxycodone pills which were being used as evidence for a case on August 17th. As part of her plea agreement, Brown admits she had stolen prescription drugs from the evidence room on a number of occasions because of an addiction problem. Brown resigned from her job this week.
