{Smithers, West Virginia}...Donald Scott Wills, 44, of Smithers, a former Glasgow and Smithers police officer, was arraigned Thursday afternoon on new charges including armed robbery, burglary and conspiracy after Fayette County prosecutors made a motion to dismiss the single count of armed robbery against him. Wills was arrested Tuesday following a home invasion reported Monday evening in Smithers. Don Naylor, 48, and Michael Scarbro, 29, both of Smithers, have also been arrested and charged with armed robbery, burglary and conspiracy. Scarbro told police that they all knew the victim had a new prescription for pain pills, and Wills and Naylor went to the home, knocked on the door and shouted they were the police. Once the men pushed their way inside, Naylor pulled what appeared to be a pistol from his waistband, shouting "Police! get on the floor!" several times, while pointing the purported pistol at the victims.
