West Virginia}…During a special meeting Tuesday afternoon, the Cabell County
School Board fired former school librarian and teacher 31 year old Lennie
Adkins. In February, a grand jury indicted Adkins on eight counts of possession
of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and eight
counts of employment or use of a minor to produce obscene matter. Adkins, was
arrested in June 2011, but, in September, prosecutors dismissed all the
criminal charges. State Police say they found six pictures on his computer, dating
back to 2008, of nude males who were minors at the time. Adkins last worked as
a school librarian at Geneva Kent Elementary in Huntington ,
but he has also worked at other schools in the district, including Cabell Midland
High School
