Bomb found in Mason County home

A home in Mason County filled with drugs was booby trapped with a bomb.
A complaint call led to a bomb squad being sent out to a home along Keister Road near Ashton.
Investigators say the side garage door was booby trapped with a bomb. The bomb squad was able to diffuse the explosive.
Once inside the home, officers found guns and a large quantity of meth. A baby was also found living in the home and is now with child protective services.
Police arrested Joshua Smith, 23, of Ashton, Matthew Gibson, 24, of Ashton, Krista Aeiker of Ashton, John Cornell, 22, of Apple Grove, Michael Mayes, 47, of Ashton following the discovery.
All the suspects were taken to Western Regional Jail and are facing child abuse and drug charges.
One of the suspects is charged in connection with the bomb.
