A man faces sexual assault charges in Jackson County
The girl told deputies she had sex with Brian Belcher, 23, several times. When officials with Child Protective Services found out, they contacted deputies.
According to the criminal complaint, Belcher claims the girl told him she was 17 years old and about to turn 18.
Belcher was in custody Tuesday night in the South Central Regional Jail.
