The Honor Flight Network is offering to special flight from Tri-State Airport in Huntington on May 11.
The flight will have room for 149 veterans, their doctors and guardian assistants.
The honor flights to Washington , D.C. , began in 2005 to fly World War II veterans and other terminally ill war veterans who might not otherwise get to see the memorials.
Almost 100,000 veterans have taken part in the programs since inception. Donations defray the costs of the flights.
