Three men were indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury in Charleston for child pornography offenses.
Charles D. Cunningham, 39, of Milton , was charged with distribution and possession of child pornography, according to a release by U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin’s office.
The two-count indictment alleges that Cunningham distributed child pornography on February 23, 2009. It also alleges Cunningham possessed images and videos of child pornography on his computer on May 22, 2009.
Cunningham faces up to 30 years in prison, a $500,000 fine and lifetime supervised release if convicted.
A second federal indictment handed down Tuesday charges Raymond Eugene Leake, 34, of Huntington , with attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity and distribution, receipt, and possession of child pornography.
The four-count indictment alleges that Leake attempted to to persuade, induce, entice, and coerce a minor to engage in sexual activity on December 24, 2012 through January 13, 2013. It also alleges that he received child pornography on January 10, 2013 and then allegedly distributed the child pornography on January 13, 2013.
If convicted, Leake faces up to life in prison, a $1 million fine and lifetime supervised release.
A third federal indictment Tuesday charges Paul Silas Jenkins, 33, of Williamson, with production of child pornography.
The indictment alleges that between 2010 and no later than December 2011, Jenkins persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of creating a video of the conduct.
Jenkins faces up to 30 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and lifetime supervised release if convicted.
