Corrections Officer Pleads Guilty

Wednesday, corrections officer 30 year old Latersha Allen, pleaded guilty to using obscene matter to seduce a 15 year old inmate at the James Tiger Morton Juvenile Detention Center in Dunbar. Allen will be sentenced in February. Prosecutors have recommended an alternative sentence, meaning no jail time, if she has a good pre-sentence report returned to the court.
