Recreational Trail Projects Awarded Grants


{Charleston, West Virginia}…Monday, Governor Earl Ray Tomblin presented $1.2 million in federal grants for 22 recreational trail projects in West Virginia. The largest grant of nearly $116,000 was awarded for repairs to the Decker's Creek Trail in Monongalia and Preston counties. Projects are being funded in 18 counties. The state Division of Highways administers the federal Recreational Trails Program for the state.
