Double Homicide In Boone County

{Bloomingrose, West Virginia}...West Virginia State Police from the Madison detachment and Boone County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a double homicide after Leigh Ann Kinder-Parsons of Bloomingrose and her mother, Sue Kinder of Lexington, Kentucky were found stabbed to death in Kinder-Parsons' home Tuesday afternoon. Sheriff Rodney Miller says both women's throats were slashed. Kinder-Parsons' teenage daughter escaped and contacted a neighbor for help. Deputies are looking for Kinder-Parsons' husband, 36 year old Timothy Parsons in connection with the murders. Sherman Elementary School was placed on "code red"  lockdown for about two hours. Kinder-Parsons' 5 year old daughter attends the school. As a precaution, Sherman High School and Sherman Junior High School were placed on modified lockdown, where students could be checked out by a parent or guardian.
