{Winfield, West Virginia}...J. Robert Leslie, of Hurricane, has become the new Circuit Judge for the 29th Judicial Circuit serving Putnam County. Leslie is a Marshall University and Ohio Northern University College of Law graduate with a law office in Teays Valley. He has been a lawyer at the Tyree, Embree & Leslie law firm for 11 years and has 18 years of experience in the courtroom. Leslie fills the vacancy left behind by the retirement of The Honorable O.C. Spaulding. Leslie won the May 8th Democratic pirmary for the seat. Leslie attracted 44% of the vote in a three-candidate race. He faces Republican Joe Reeder in November.
