Beckley Man Pleads Guilty

  • {Beckley, West Virginia}...Benjamin J. Webb, 39, of Beckley, pleaded guilty Thursday to charges of burglary and aiding and abetting the burglary of a federal post office. Webb admitted that, on October 30, 2011, he and a second individual were driven to the Fairdale Post Office in Beckley, where they grabbed a sledgehammer and smashed a glass door to gain entry. Once inside, they stole nine packages and fled the scene. The packages, addressed to Webb, contained bath salts. Webb faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine when sentenced August 30th.
