{Kanawha City, West Virginia}...Just before 2:30 A.M. Saturday, Charleston Police were called to the Red Roof Inn on MacCorkle Avenue in Kanawha City after a man used pepper spray to rob a female clerk. Joseph McKinney, 20, is charged with first degree robbery and is being held on a $50,000 bond. Charleston Police Lt. S.A. Cooper says McKinney was wearing a white shirt around his head and he brandished a can of pepper spray at her, threatening to use it and telling her he was also armed with a firearm and a knife.Sunday, May 13, 2012
