{St. Albans, West Virginia}...Authorities are searching for a man after he escaped from a standoff. Police say 28 year old Eric Scott Hazelwood of St. Albans had been in an argument with his brother Robert Hazelwood Wednesday night when he brandished a firearm and held it to Robert's head and threatened to kill him. Kanawha County Deputies went to the suspect's home on Main Street just outside St. Albans about 8:00 P.M. after witnesses indicated they had seen Eric Hazelwood headed that way. The department's SWAT team surrounded the home for four hours until gaining a search warrant and arrest warrant. They entered the home to find it empty. Detectives found a pistol in the residence, but it's unclear if it's the same firearm used in the incident.
