{Charleston, West Virginia}...Thursday, Kanawha County Magistrate Carol Fouty responded to the Judicial Hearing Board concerning alleged ethics violations. Fouty was suspended from her position in April after several allegations that she allowed people to work for her in exchange for having cases against them dismissed. Fouty asked that the suspension be lifted. Fouty says she is in financial hardship and needs to get back to work. The Judicial Hearing Board has 90 days to set a hearing, unless they decide more time is needed.
