{Huntington, West Virginia}...Last summer, U.S. District Judge Robert Chambers sentenced 31 year old Neil Hasen of Alkol to probation after he admitted using another worker's identification number at least two dozen times because he wasn't certified to do conduct pre-shift safety inspections at Big River Mining's Broad Run Mine in Mason County. Thursday, Hasen admitted faking an official document at the halfway house where he's been living to make it appear he'd changed jobs and couldn't afford to stay there. Judge Chambers said he'd repeatedly given breaks to Hasen, who continues to follow "a course of deceit and defiance," and he sentenced Hasen to six months in prison and 30 months' probation.
