{Charleston, West Virginia}...Friday, U.S. District Judge Thomas E. Johnston sentenced 49 year old Samuel Glenn Garwood of South Carolina to 144 months in prison for bank robbery. Garwood admitted that, in 2010, he robbered the Pioneer Federal Credit Union in South Charleston and the Federal Credit Union in Barboursville, along with two banks in South Carolina. Garwood was also ordered to pay $8,671 in restitution to the four banks.
